Overpriced for neighborhood
I stayed in the Rivington in January 2006. It is the only nice or new building in the middle of a sort of a slum area known as the lower east side, complete with dirty sidewalks, run down storefronts flag the hotel. Loved this hotel
Having had difficulties finding a hotel in NY in December at late notice, Hotel on Rivington was a great surprise.
