The washrooms were clean enough (minus the shower), however be prepared to wait in line unless you want to get up and ready really early (before 7:30). more on TripAdvisor

Location is the only quality of the Mount Royal. Quiet, upper west side residential district. The room was the size of a walk in closet, the plumbing leaked, the bugs assured that I neither unpacked nor left my suitcase open.
