Wow, but Whoops!
My wife and I are from Texas and we stayed here Oct 18-23, 2006 as I celebrated my 55th birthday. The first room we checked into was clean and tidy but reaked of cigarette smoke. Great hotel, great location, great city!
Hotel sits RIGHT next to hairspray and one minute from color purple musicals. (Color Purple was amazing!!!!!) We went to Vegas last year and LOVED found New York MUCH easier to get around and LESS expensive! This was our first trip to NYC and we rode the subway. Filthy Rooms
There are so many hotels in NYC, there is no reason to stay here. Thankfully, we were only there one night. The carpet was so filthy I didn't shower, because I didn't want to step on the floor.
