Good Location, Good Value
I stayed at The Hayden Hotel in April, 2006. I got a single room w/private bath. The bathroom was literally 3 ft. wide by about 12 ft. long but it was very clean, had new tile and new fixtures, and I was never without hot water. Decent Budget Hotel
I have stayed in quite a few places in NYC, and this place ranks pretty far down my list. On the plus side, this hotel is in a very nice neighborhood on the Upper West Side. Right in the heart of the west side and near the museums and action is the Hayden Hall Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small, but had twin beds, a phone, a small bath, sink and toilet, a bureau, a table, and two unmatched chairs. It was very quiet.
