This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you are low maintenance and on a tight budget. You can't ask for a better neighborhood than this to stay in (I'm partial- I used to live here). There are great ... more on TripAdvisor

Would recommend-not in midtown New York eg times square/shops etc but this doesn't matter as it's right opposite central park and a lovely 20-30 min walk downtown (otherwise a taxi about 8-10 dollars) ... more on TripAdvisor
