In comparison at this price my friend was staying at the Americanna Inn which would have cost me more, he had to share bathrooms and his room could just about fit a single bed, sink and ... more on TripAdvisor

On examining prices for 1-3 star hotels in New York for my recent visit I was shocked to see that even hotels /hostels requiring sharing bathrooms would cost me $100+ a night. more on TripAdvisor

He even said my room was impressive than his parents at a 2-3 star midtown hotel where they were pying $150+ a night. more on TripAdvisor
