Located in Warren County, no one can deny that Queensbury is a very interesting place to visit in New York. It is part of Glens Falls, the Metropolitan Statistical Area, the New York Metropolitan Area, and the Albany. With a population of over 25,000, Queensbury still retains its charm despite economic and social development. Queensbury is actually named after Queen Charlotte who was consort of King George III from Ireland and Great Britain.
Queensbury's history is actually interesting because settlement began in as early as 1762; the area has enticed Quaker people into moving to an area known as "Township of Queensbury" in 1763. In addition, Queensbury is the biggest suburb of the Glens Falls and it even surpasses this city in terms of population.
