HONEYMOON VACATION

MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED IN COTTAGE 9 AND LOVED IT. WE WERE THERE JULY 3 -7 AND HAD A GREAT TIME. CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE AND OTHER ACTIVITES. WE PLAN ON GOING BACK IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. I RECOMMEND THE COTTAGES VERY MUCH. IF YOU WANT RELAXATION THE COTTAGES ARE THE PLACE TO GO.

Nice people, near town, BUT very close to 4 lane highway!

Cons: From looking at the website we envisioned more of a rustic wooded getaway setting and did not anticipate a 4-LANE HIGHWAY WITHIN STONE THROWING DISTANCE. We had a wonderful experience at the Pines - the cabin was cozy and rustic, complete with a wood-burning fireplace. When traveling North on Hwy. 19/23 (future I-26), take exit 21 (New Stock). Right at bottom of ramp at the light and right again onto Weaverville Hwy. at the next light. The Pines is about 1 mile South on Weaverville Hwy. on the right.
