OMG!
Like: Set next to a flowing creek in a beautiful forest located right off the main highway. Dislike: Just about everything else. Old, Out-dated, and Over-priced
We stayed one night at Roaring RIver after driving up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were very disappointed at the poor condition and lack of any appeal of this place. No air condition!
No air condition! Very hot and stuffy. The ceiling fan broke while we were there. The carpet is extremely stain. The chalet that we stayed in is in need of repair. What a change!
I've stayed here with my boys for the last three years. In all reality, I considered looking a guys get-away as the units were starting to fall apart. Mildew and roaches
We recently had the displeasure of staying at Roaring River Chalets, in Blowing Rock, NC. This was an awful mistake! The unit was so over powered with the smell of mold and mildew we all had weasing and coughing. The carpet was disgusting and toxic, not fit for even carpeting an out door garage! ...
