Nice Surprise!

We chose this motel after reading the reviews here...Was worried about the M-otel but was very nicely surprised upon arrival. We came in a lot later than expected but the front desk was open 24 hours and they handled it with ease. The property and our room was very CLEAN and very well maintained.... An outstanding hotel

We were staying four nights, but were so satisfied with the place we extended our stay by two nights. This is a real gem of a hotel. Colony IV By the Sea is for me

Wonderful. Everyone's reviews were accurate and so helpful. We made sure to ask for a quiet room and had to change our plans by one day to get one(as soon as I asked for that, the front desk knew I knew and suggested specific rooms). Bad Experience

Our stay was a disappointment. The exercise room smelled of smoke so bad we couldn't use it. The ice and laundry room also smelled like cigarette smoke, and was dirty. Colony IV is the BEST!

We stayed at the Colony IV the week of July 8, 2007. This is the best beach motel/hotel we have stayed in. It was clean - no funny smells - and the staff was friendly and helpful.
