Loved Fairfield, Loved Lake Lure!!

My family of four traveled to Lake Lure at Labor Day for a long weekend with my parents, my brother and his wife, and my grandparents. My mother took care of the entire arrangements because she and my dad had stayed there before. I had been on the Fairfield Mountains' website and was not too excited about what I had seen, but my mother made the reservations and I hated to tell her that she had reserved us at a dump.
