Loved The Lake Lure Inn

My husband and I stayed at the LLI in Johnny's Cabin on 10/8/07 and it was wonderful! Obviously this is an older property but it has been taken care of with lots of TLC and it shows. Misleading and felt money hungry

First, the price of the room w/ jacuzzi was wrong on the site, only to be told it was the "old" website (takes mere minutes to update or take down a site and yet it said 2006 rates, it's January now, just how old is the site?). Wished to Leave Early

I had only read the reviews for this hotel after I had booked and planned our vacation. If I had read the one titled "left early," I would have known what to expect. Wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Our first visit to the Inn was most enjoyable. It was our honeymoon trip and also Thanksgiving. The staff was helpful and hospitable. Very pleasant and polite. The jacuzzi room was great!
