This was our first visit to New Bern, and we had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton. The service and food was excellent. The views from this hotel are to die for. not what it used to be

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. At one time, it was quite nice, back then, the best in New Bern. However, it has really gone downhill badly over the past 2 or 3 years. My husband and I booked the Honeymoon Suite as it was the best available room for a weekend getaway. You could not ask for a better spot to put a hotel, great views, good access to everything. BUT- Although some repairs are being made, the place is still in rough condition, overpriced, and the big thing is, there is no where to park!
