Too far from historical areas

The villas were very hard to find, directions get you to Fairfield Resort but not to the villa suites. The front gate to the resort is several miles from the villas, and security gates block the entrance. No restraunt within walking distance, 20 minute drive to New Bern, historical part. Employees nice... condo nice.. but in the middle of no where

Vacation was given as a gift. We enjoyed the condo. It was HUGE!! The beds however could have been bigger but hey.. it's a timeshare and this was a gift. haha. The Fairfield Harbour was a refreshing stay. My son had just returned from Iraq and it was so peaceful and he commented it was the quietess night of sleep he had got in a long time.
