The first settlers of Fargo came in 1871 when homestead claims were made at the junction of the Northern Pacific Railroad and the Red River. First, there were saloons and inns that served many strangers. Then, as time went by, the City of Fargo developed. The saloons are gone and now there are hotels and lodgings that ranged from the simplest Fargo bed and breakfast to the posh luxury hotels. Fargo vacations usually include trips to the museums and theaters. Fargo vacations may also be watching festivals and sporting events. For the romantic couple, the best way to plan a trip is to check out the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. But here are a couple of suggestions. Whether it is a honeymoon or a romantic getaway, the couple could not go wrong by visiting the Fargo Air Museum where the history, thrill, and patriotism of the country’s youth are showcased in the aircrafts. And if the couple likes the rolling greens and the challenge of golf, they can go to the Edgewood Municipal Golf Course, with 18 holes, a driving range, and putting greens. Fargo City can also be considered as a golf city with numerous golf courses in the area. Beginners can go to the El Zagal Golf Course while the pros may prefer the Rose Creek Golf Course. If the romantic couple wanted an indoor driving range, they can go to the Sports Bubble.
