I read the Scottish lady's review after booking our room and became a bit concerned that we would not enjoy our stay there, but we were quite pleased with the whole experience. more on TripAdvisor

Breakfast in the morning was very relaxed and friendly and in the evening relaxed in the very comfortable lounge for a chat with other guests more on Yahoo! Travel

We stayed here towards the end of the summer last year, in fact I think we were just about the last guests of the season in Pictou as the town was very quiet. more on TripAdvisor

Our hostess sat in the breakfast room chatting happily away, and after breakfast I asked her if I could use the internet for ten minutes to find our next night's accomodation. more on TripAdvisor
