2.0: Nice facility but POOR service and OVERCHARGED BANK ACCOUNT - won't stay again

My husband and I were attending a wedding and the nearby Hampton Inn recommended the Residence Inn as one of the few nearby hotels that accepts pets. So I booked a 2-night reservation by phone using my Marriott Rewards card. When I talked with the reservationist at the front desk, I asked her whether they did accept pets, which she confirmed.
