5.0: Unique and warm

This hotel is beautiful, super clean, and unique in it's decor (for the Midwest, anyway!) It is quiet and peaceful, yet not stuffy. Some staff friendlier than others. Very kid friendly. My husband and I stayed here in February of 2007. The hotel website makes the hotel look far more opulent than it really is. For $100 per night there was no ice machine, vending machines, hairdryers, iron, ironing boards, or coffee.
