BEAUTIFUL OLD LODGE
IF I JUST HAVE TO DISLIKE ANYTHING: WELL THEY LOAD THEIR T/P TO ROLL THE WRONG WAY.I UNDER- STAND THERE IS TALK OF RAZING THE OLD LODGE. I grew up in Kingston and have spent many years on Lake Texoma and at the Lodge and cabins. On this particular weekend we chose to rent 2 cabins for a 40th birthday gathering (which we have done several times in the past). Creepy cabin
We chose the cabins rather than the lodge, thinking "you get what you pay for". Our first problem was the check-in. The reservation says check in is at 3:00pm, however they mean check in STARTS at 3:00pm. We finally were awarded a key at 5:30pm. At the cabins there are absolutely NO cleaning supp... A Yahoo! If you are AT ALL concerned about cleanliness, this is not the place for you! We had a family reunion there, and many of us had to go to the nearest Wal-Mart for sheets and towels.
