Nice hotel for the price except for the carpet
The Thunderbird Lodge is one of the least expensive properties in the area(about $20 less than any other) and had several great features such as the extensive breakfast -heat your own french toast, doughnuts, cereal, sweet rolls, bean burritos, milk, juice(tang), and coffee. Very friendly. Excellent budget minded motel, not 5 star, don't expect room service. BUT We have stayed here a few times since 2001 with kids-5 of us in total. Good Value, Clean, Economical, Ideal
The rooms are simple, clean basic. Continental Breakfast is varied with many healthy options. The Cart Bus stop is 100 metres away & fares are 50c.
