Rock Springs Guest Ranch

This gets a great review from me. If you read the Rock Springs website you'll find six questions that they suggest you ask any dude ranch. The questions are offered with a truly generous spirit to ensure that any dude ranch guest has a good trip regardless of where they go. Reading them and comparing the other ranches lead me back to Rock Springs. None of the other ranches can compete on the main prize -- the horses. The horses are not the typical plodding old trail ride horses. They have zip and personality, more "go" than "whoa", and mine also knew all the subtle leg and rein cues that most trail ride herds get drummed out of them by being ridden by a stream of novice riders.
