The decor is salvation army /yard sale, with duct tape repairs to the furniture and plumbing, but it had a kitchen and a nice view of the hills. more on TripAdvisor

We stayed at Wayne and Dottie's because my wife had stayed there as a girl, and had good memories of the trips. The "cabins" are truly an old motel. For $35 a night we had electricity, water, comforta ... more on TripAdvisor

Huntington itself isn't much to look at. "Downtown" is 3 blocks long, and whether or not the locals are friendly depends on how you're percieved. The largest building in town has an old advertisement ... more on TripAdvisor
