Everything but guests

The Running Y is either the best kept secret in Oregon or there's some seriously wrong here. We were there during the last week of June and it was all but empty. Even the staff was missing, which means you have to schlep your own bags up to your slightly overpriced room. It reminded of the Overlo... Rastadog, a user of Tripadvisor. The resort was gorgeous, our unit was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable and it was a joy to be able to cook a full breakfast in the kitchen each morning of our three night stay. My wife and I had a chance to visit the Running Y in mid March '05 and knew that the weather was going to be iffy. Well it snowed, but mostly at night and was not much left by morning. FROM KLAMATH FALLS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT-TAKE A LEFT ONTO JOE WRIGHT RD AND THEN A RIGHT ONTO WASHBURN WAY AND AT TOP OF THE OVERPASS TAKE THE EXIT FOR HWY 140W-MEDFORD AND GO 3 MILES UNDER AN OVER PASS. YOU WILL THEN COME TO A STOPLIGHT AND TURN RIGHT ONTO HWY 140W-MEDFORD LAKE OF THE WOODS. GO 8 MILES UP 140W AND RUNNING Y IS ON THE RIGHT AND CHECK IN IS AT THE LODGE. .
