found by accident
I was staying at the Spanish Head and took a walk to the Pines resturant. I stummbled upon the Dock in the Bay(not that name at that time) and we have stayed there several times. Reasonable Priced Bay View
We stayed at Dock of the Bay for two nights and were perfectly content with the accomodations. That is not to say they are perfect: the furnishings are outdated, the kitchen is stocked by an odd and motley assortment of pans and utensils, and the front desk person we dealt with was not exactly hi... We also stayed in room #207. The room looked like someone left in a hurry and didn't have enough time to clean the place. The bathroom toilet was dirty and had not been cleaned. One of LC's BEST!!!!!
I totally disagree with the previous review written about this establishment! For goodness sakes--this is a coastal town, with it's own charm and culture--and one of the delights of being a guest in Lincoln City, is to stay at THE DOCK OF THE BAY! It's GREAT!
