I have just moved here form Scottsdale, Arizona and have been at Jakes at the govoner hotel 3 times and have been sorley dissapointed in the food. The food is average at best. Great location within walking distance to Pearl. The vallet and front desk were all helpful and accommodating to my numerous requests & room service quickly provided a bucket of ice. Beautiful with Perfect Service and Great Location
I was traveling to Portland for a conference and I always like to stay at Historic Hotels of America if possible. My booking was unusual as I had to pre-pay for my room because of my budget at work. An awful, smelly room
Expedia no longer guarantees that you will get what you ask for in a room, and if it's the difference between a king and a queen bed, who cares? But when it comes to a non-smoking room, if I ask for one, that means I want one. But apparently, that has no bearing when you book a hotel through this... maye, a user of Travelpost. Directions
Take Airport Wy to I-205 S. Take exit 21B on to I-84 W. Stay on I-84 until the I-5 split. Stay in the middle lane at the I-5 split. Veer left at the split and stay in the right lane following the sign that says City Center. Cross the Morrison Bridge, and stay on Washington St on the other side of the Willamette River. Turn left on 11th Ave. The hotel will be 1.5 blocks south, just past Alder St and the entrance will be on the left side of the street.
