Adequate, but you can do better

Confort Inn New Columbia was adequate but I would pick some place else next time. The room was dark and smelled mildewy. The shower curtain was the culprit I think. Not bad for a free night!

I stayed here through a free night with the Choice Hotels rewards program. (A free night is only 8000 points.) I'd been driving for 9 hours mostly in the rain, so the billboard for the Comfort Inn on I-80 was a welcome sight.
