Depressing, serviceless and IDGAS employees

Depressing: villas were dirty; toilets did not flush well; and most of the landscape around the villas was awful and not taken care of, looked like gardeners were on vacation a long time ago; etc. Serviceless: no service whatsoever, no daily change of towels, not even toilet paper in the bathrooms and when asked, we were told that we had to pay for the extra toilet paper and the extra soap: INCREDIBLE: offered internet (hot spot?) ... Not that good

My husband and I won a free stay at Club Cala. Thanks God it was free because I would not have paid to stay there. In general, we did have a good time and got a chance to enjoy some time off work, etc. However, the customer service was horrible. Club Cala - Pleasant, comfortable, & friendly

We stayed at Club Cala this past August -my husband, my 3 kids, (13, 14, &4) myself & our friends - which included a middle-aged couple with their toddler and a young couple. Disappointed with Club Cala

Just came back from Club Cala.....we went as guests of our cousin who has this as their base for timeshare. They had been there several times years ago and raved about it, and had recently received something in the mail saying everything was great. After hearing about this place for many years we were very anxious to go there. Needless to say they were very disappointed and embarrassed that they took us there. Before going there I checked Interval's book and I did notice that it was not a five star resort anymore.....in fact, it was a no star resort. Negatives: 1.There was mold in the kitchen cabinet. Disappointing...BEWARE!!

This place has the potential to be 4 star, but it's barely a 2 star. We had 1/3 roll of toilet paper when we arrived (none in 2nd bathroom), only 1 bath towel, most of kitchen items were missing, and finding this place in the Plaza de Mar complex was challenging to say the least (you blink and you miss it...again and again and again...). We were finally given more towels on day 4 (we used hand towels until then...not fun for a family of 4), had to get our own toilet paper and paper towels as they "ran out", and spent at least $100 on essentials not provided by resort, (i.e. coffee filters for their 2 cup coffee maker, dish soap, etc...). A lock on one of the doors leading out to the balcony (only 2 stories up...hardly safe) was broken and it took repeated calls to get someone to ... Vacation807, a user of Tripadvisor.
