best accomodations in my 16 visits to the island
The Blue Dory Inn is a wonderful place that incorporates all that is beautiful about Block Island. The buildings themselves are spacious yet cozy, with a true Victorian feel. We stayed at the Blue Dory to celebrate a friends birthday. We took the ferry from Rhode Island , it took about 1 hour. It was a very wonderful stay. The inn is situated only two blocks from the harbor where the ferry drops you off. You can walk to pretty much everything in town. We went in early... a user of bedandbreakfast.com. We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dory Inn to celebrate our 20th aniversary. We had reservations to stay for two nights but had to leave after the first night because one of our kids got sick back at home.
