In a great area, but hotel less then wonderful

the boutique hotel is in the greatest area, with to die for italian food cafes all around. If you go 3 blocsk one way or another the neighboorhood look pretty run down. We would not stay again

My husband and I were in Providence for our daughter's graduation and spent six nights at the Dolce Villa, May 2007. Pro's: Valet parking, good location Con's: Uncomfortable beds; only ceiling fluorescent lights (a lamp by the bed would be nice to read by); all cool white everything (walls, floor... Do not recommend - noisy

I am writing this review from my room in the hotel. Unfortunately, I was up early today due to the noise. The hotel has no carpeting to absorb the noise so when someone walks above you, you here every step. Great location and experience

This place was a gem. There were temperapedic mattresses and pillows, white leather headboards and couches, and a full kitchen with supplies. Nice, But Problematic

I noted on the website that the hotel will beat any internet rate, so contacted them directly. their rack rate was around $200 and I was given a rate of $109.
