Did not enjoy!

Stay date: 5/26/07 Room #137 Background: Twice a year I help my mother drive from Maine to Florida and back. We stop along I-95 for two nights. Up until recently, we had been staying at the Baymont Inn in Santee, however during the last stay in January 2007, the room reeked of some sort of unpleasant "air freshener" and the staff there were less than welcoming. Clean, quiet, good service

Stayed here on 6/24/07 on the way from NC to FL. I have to agree with most of the reviews and say that HJ/Santee is a good value for the money. Don't expect a 5-star resort, but for $50 it was everything ... pinesdriver, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
