Did not enjoy!
Stay date: 5/26/07 Room #137 Background: Twice a year I help my mother drive from Maine to Florida and back. We stop along I-95 for two nights. Clean, quiet, good service
Stayed here on 6/24/07 on the way from NC to FL. I have to agree with most of the reviews and say that HJ/Santee is a good value for the money. Don't expect a 5-star resort, but for $50 it was everything you could ask for. It is a one-story building, so parking was right at the door which made un... pinesdriver, a user of Tripadvisor. Good place to stay
The room was clean, the area was quiet and the motel is close to several restaurants and service stations. We checked in late on our way home from a trip and just wanted a clean room, a tank of gas, something to eat and a good nights sleep and that's what we got. The staff was friendly, courteous... Clean nice service
Stayed last Sat night 5-7-07 Found it ok The place is split into two sections one is across the road. Wife wanted to stay near the pool which is small and near a busy road. to get to the breakfast you may have to cross the road but thankfully there is inroom coffee - ours happened to be two decaf... tsbardella, a user of Tripadvisor.
