This is a fairly new hotel (i think l 1/2 yrs) On the street adjacent to the hotel there is a Walmart, Target, Belk,etc. more on Yahoo! Travel

Summerville is nice but very small and Charleston is ca. 30-40 min drive from the hotel. more on TripAdvisor
