Perfect spot in the Hills!
We have stayed at several places in the Black Hills, and in the Custer area I strongly recommend staying in the cabins at one of the Custer State Park Resorts, and in particular Blue Bell. Really happy here
My son and I stayed here in Cabin B3 for 3 nights. I loved the location of the lodge in the park - but wasn't prepared for how huge Custer State Park actually is!! We had a housekeeping cabin. Blue Bell was great, wish we had more time there.
We found out about Custer State Park just a few days before we left for South Dakota. We were able to book cabins for one night each at Sylvan Lake Lodge and Blue Bell Lodge. Awesome
Just got back from Blue Bell with my Husband and three kids. I am not an outdoorsy, camping, hiking kind of vactioner and I still had a great time! Beautiful setting and an amazing cabin.
