We stumbled across Roct Crest Lodge totally by accident. We came out one year to climb Crazy Horse and had no idea of where to stay. Driving through town, we fell in love with the set back, natual beauty of Rock Crest. The prices were great - so here we parked! And loved every minute of it.... By A Yahoo! Great mom & pop place
We decided not to stay in a chain hotel while in Custer and selected Rock Crest instead. The cabins here are great looking on the website, but I didn't want to spend the extra money. Clean rooms, excellent staff but bright lights during the nights
We stayed in the lodge, room number 8 for three days. It was a clean, but the room was not set up wisely. I think it was just our room. (When I peeked into vacant windows, every other room seemed to be set up in a more intuitive and user-friendly pattern.) When you lay in bed, you stare right int... We stayed at the Rock Crest Lodge June 2006 for 6 nights in cabin 15. Upstairs in the sleeping loft was a queen bed and 3 twin beds.
