A Great Place To Stay

I stayed there during the State's Vietnam Veterans Monument dedication. The Inn is centrally located, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Needs Improvement

The pool was dirty with a brown slimmy edge and the floor of the pool was actually slippery. The hot tub was closed due a very dirty, cloudy water. Good budget hotel

Stayed for one night in August, 2007. The Governor's is a good budget hotel. The pluses are that it has microwaves and fridges in the rooms. Free wireless internet which I was able to get in my room. What a lovely little motor inn. The staff could not be nicer - fresh coffee (or iced tea) and fresh baked cookies at the front desk, excellent restaurant recommendations.
