There is a fantastic fresh food market only a few hundred meters from the front door of Citadines-great for fresh fruit and veges and fish etc (and photos!) more on TripAdvisor

I would have rather stayed at a hotel on the Ramblas and had the services and the care of a hotel rather than this place that was costly and offered nothing except a room. more on Yahoo! Travel
