The Edgewater Hotel in Gatlinburg is right on the small river that runs through the back area of Gatlinburg. more on igougo

The staff was interesting...the facilities were less-than-perfect...and the people there I didn't really like....i did like that u got free tickets to the aquarium and a 30 dollar gift to 3 different restaurants....i liked the pool though The staff...ugh, the lady when I went to go ask for a key to the gym (it was terrible...only a couple of treadmills and two bikes), and the counter lady was like: do u have id? more on ZoomAndGo
