Description :Motor Hotel consisting of three buildings set in 12 acres, overlooking Pigeon River, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park.;Professional Review :The Greystone Lodge at the Aquarium lies adjacent to one of Gatlinburg's most popular attractions, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. It is about as centrally located as a Gatlinburg hotel can be, at the hub of all the trolley routes and right on the main parkway in the middle of town. This is a good midrange option for families and couples, and it is very popular with the younger crowd around some holidays. The hotel was built in the 1960s, and it still looks good from regular maintenance. The stone building with green and white trim overlooks a rushing mountain stream, creating a nice contrast to the commercial hubbub of Gatlinburg.
