I have been visiting the Homestead House now since it first opened back in the early 1980's. I have stayed at other Hotels in Gatlinburg, but I prefer to stay at the Homestead House. It is in a very picturesque

So it's dated and not "top of the class" but if you want MORE money to spend on attractions and souvenirs and if you want to enjoy your time out on the town (You are only in your room to SLEEP anyway) ... more on TripAdvisor
