Very Beautiful & Romantic Hotel

The Carnegie is a real jewel in Johnson City. The rooms are large and furnished with period-looking pieces. The bathrooms are luxurious. The place itself is an excellent reproduction of a turn of the century hotel.

old world style, updated elegance

From the outside, this looks like a typical hotel, connected to a university setting. WRONG! The rooms are beautiful with exquisite furniture and the bathrooms are huge and elegant. Wonderful Hotel with fabulous amenities and food!

We stayed at the Carnegie when we first moved to the area of Johnson City, TN. We actually stayed on property for 2 1/2 weeks. We were treated like royalty!
