funky, historic hotel between the desert and mountains
My wife and I stayed here so that I could run the M2M Marathon between Alpine, Texas and Marathon, Texas. FIRST, THE GOOD. Cute, Quaint, Excellent Staff
Went to visit my son who's staffing at a nearby camp for the summer. The rooms sleep only two each, so I had to get two adjoining rooms, which make up a suite. Charming, Fun and Historic
We arrived after 9 p.m. in Alpine and expected little or no activity at the Holland House. We were wrong. The hotel has a good restaurant specializing in German food and a microbrewery, along with live music every night. The restaurant had an old Texas feel, with friendly people and enjoyable loc... We worked with the Holland Hotel hosting a Juvenile Law Conference. Both Speakers and Vendors stayed at the Holland. Everyone who stayed there commented on the excellent facilities.
