WE stayed at Canyon and a few helpful hints, The vanishing river cruise was not worth your time. It has been abbreviated due to low water and does not go out as far or does not take you to the falls due to low water. Save your money the $125.00 a night is a rip off
If you're looking for a fun family retreat take my advice and look further. This hotel does NOT cater to children (or anyone for that fact). The desk clerk was rude an half attentive as we were checking in (and out). You are not allowed to drive up to your room but instead have to park about 50 y... poohvale, a user of Tripadvisor. Beautiful views on Lake Buchanan! Swim, take a cruise on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, hike, fish, boat, canoe, see beautiful wildflowers in the Spring. This place is awesome!!!
I am the mother of 2 children and visited Canyon of the Eagles for a short getaway before school started again. We had so much fun reconnecting as a family at this lodge. Canyon makes for the best retreat
We had a blast at Canyon of the Eagles. The rooms are so cute, rustic, clean, and feels just like a country lodge.
