Great location, comfortable beds

I just returned from a quick weekend trip to Padre Island with 4 18-year old girls and another mom. Our stay at the Comfort Suites was generally great. The location is great, comfy beds, but noisy upstairs neighbors and unbelievably weak coffee at the breakfast buffet. We were originally looking for a condo or beach house since we had 6 people, but they were all requiring 3 night stays due to July 4th – we were only staying Friday & Saturday night. We booked the 1 bed-room suite which had a separate king bedroom, the main room with 2 queens, a small living area with a desk & sofa; kitchen and bathroom. The hotel website says this room can accommodate up to 8 guests, however unless 2 were small children I wouldn’t try it. The sleeper sofa was twin-size at best. The beds were very comfortable. Nice hotel

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights mid July. I selected this hotel as the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort across the street from the Comfort Suites had such bad reviews on tripadvisor. I'm so glad we followed the advise on here ! Comfort Suites, nice new hotel. Rooms still fresh and overall still looks like a new hotel.
