1.0: KEEP AWAY from this hotel!!!!

The rooms were not very clean and the complimentary breakfast was only coffee, juice, and toast (and that is if you were lucky enough to find some). 1.0: Save yourself...find another place to stay

We were bumped to EconoLodge when Howard Johnson's made a mistake and over-booked. HoJo's manager promised us an "equal or better" accomodation and took us to the EconoLodge on W. Tyler in Harlingen. 3.0: OK for the money

We arrived in Harlingen late in the afternoon...without reservations for the evening. We stopped there and were given a first floor suite-one room with sofa, easy chair, table and two chairs plus TV, Micro and small refrig...and a second room that had a king bed.
