My connection at DFW was cancelled due to weather, and it was so late at night that the only hotel American Airlines could get me a distress rate at was in downtown Dallas with no shuttle - no thanks. Nice place to hide from a hurricane

My husband, infant daughter, and I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites for a long weekend when Rita struck the Gulf Coast. The hotel was surprisingly nice.
