Nice place with an assortment of housing. One of the buildings was constructed on site to mimic the old limestone block style of the Hill Country, some are farm houses that have been moved from elsewhere, and one is a reconditioned barn (moved?). Better than expected!

I was pleasantly surprised by the GHI. Very nice, informative and quick service by the person working the front desk. The room we stayed in was caled Scarlett's room and was a "root cellar" originally. Photos on website are accurate. It was a small dark room but that what I was expecting. TWO visits in five months...we love it!!

My husband & I stayed here twice. Once in July, 2006 and once again for New Year's in December, 2006. Needless to say, we loved it! We have stayed in the Garden Room and in the Judge's Chambers. Great place to relax and call your "temporary" home

I did quite a bit of research before I booked our room. My daughter and I were in town to go to Schlitterbahn and I wanted us to have a nice, reasonably priced place to stay.
