Tarpon Inn's Quaint Charm
Wonderful place to stay! I love the quaint little rooms.....it has a log cabin feel with southern like charm.....the beds were amazingly comfortable! Only its history is good.
Only the history of the Tarpon Inn is worthwhile. Unfortunately the rooms are gloomy, inspite of the genuine antique furnishings. Pretended for the wife!
Summary: Delapidated old fire trap with small, I say small, dusty rooms. Dated bath fixtures and an old an unsafe, unvented, gas heater. Rocking chairs on front porch and location are the best this place has to offer. Very busy and noisy street traffic 25 feet from the door til late night. I stay...
