So, so at the Thistle Hotel

Ok Hotel. In this area YMWV. I like the location. It's in the quieter area except for construction next door. Watch out for that if you like to sleep in past 7am. Great for the RSC theatre

Standard Thistle town centre hotel. Nothing special in itself but right in the centre of Straford upon Avon, across the street from the main entrance to the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. Loved the Thistle

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Thistle. My husband and I travelled with our Two Granddaughters and were very pleased with the room. Avoid at all costs

I stayed one Saturday night in June whilst on a company do. This hotel must rate as the worst I have ever stayed in. We waited at the bar for 25 mins to get a pre dinner drink and in the end gave up. I stayed her on my way back form a holiday in a caravan so i didn't exspect much. The rooms were not that tidy but there was nothing horrible wrong with them but they are very simple.
