My worst experience to date!

I went to write a review on this property but couldn't find it on trip advisor until today. With my review added to the others, I don't think this lodge will get off to a good start. Pretty, but with problems

We pulled up to the house and it was surrounded by lush, green trees and had pastures with a creek and buffalo. They were doing some cement construction on the usual entry door, so we had to go around a ways to the front of the house to enter every time. Needs improvement

A disappointing experience. The rooms are fine, but unless you are fortunate enough to stay on those nights when dinner is served, you cannot get so much as a peanut to eat, nor anything but water out of the tap to drink between one breakfast time and the next. Short on customer service

I stayed here for 1 night recently. My stay was OK but I witnessed what I believe was very poor treatment of other guests. On arrival the property seemed nice, beautiful location and lovely room. Great lodge!

A very nice lodge close to Capitol Reef National Park. The owner/staff were very friendly. We booked the "Chaparral" room on their website which was very charming although a bit small and dark.
