2.0: Why is Blanding so called?

I think I know why Blanding is so called - it is bland. The Comfort Inn is just adequate, although our ground floor room smelt of damp, and there was evidence of damp around the windows. Checked in Sunday..Clerk had no clue.Requested non smoking.clearly someone had smoked a cigar in room.asked to change.clerk stated only room available on 4th floor.(he could care less) .only 2 floors in building.mold in shower.plastic wraped pillows.bad beds.furniture broken.wallpaper coming off ...
