Nice little place

This is a nice little place. Pauline is a sweetie.. We actually broke down in Devils Garden and after a 6 hour ordeal in the heat . Luckily pauline was able to find another room for us to rent that evening. For $69 the price was definitely right.. The rooms were spotless. And there is a nice litt... Comfortable & friendly.

I was in the Grand Staircase to backpack but needed to spend the first night in a motel and picked the Prospector. Glad that I did. I flew my own airplane into the small, unattended (no people, no phone) Escalante airport. Since cell phone coverage was iffy, I called the Prospector when I stopped... Prospector Inn & Escalante, UT

First off, the Prospector Inn is a very, very clean and nice place to stay. It was a simple room with bathroom a wash room area. The beds were comfortable; especially after a long hike we really appreciated a good bed. I noticed many people pull in to get a hotel/motel in the town of Escalante ar... OK, but would stop elsewhere

We stopped in Escalante while doing Zion, Bryce, and Capitol Reef parks on our way back from Las Vegas to Denver. We hadn't preplanned our stop, so decided to stop here because weren't sure how far the next town with motel services was.
